About Us
Hello! We are Matt and Erin Sneed, the names behind Twisted S Performance Horses. We are located conveniently between Fort Worth and Austin, just east of Temple. Our facility has an 8 stall barn, cutting pen, round pen, hot walker, and stallion pen, along with 30 fenced acres, trails, and tanks. We will be building our roping arena and dressage arena this Spring along with adding more cross country jumps to the course that is already here.
Erin has been showing and riding horses since she was young. She grew up showing in the English disciplines ( hunter, dressage etc.) Upon graduation of high school, she was accepted to the University of Findlay. While at Findlay she had a dual major. The first being a bachelor of science in Equine Science with a concentration in Dressage and an emphasis on Training. The second being a business degree in Equine Business Management. Upon graduation, she moved and started training horses and giving lessons in central Texas.
Matt is a second generation horse trainer. He grew up calf roping, team roping, and training horses with his father. Upon graduation of High School, Matt joined the Army. He has 7 years active duty with two deployments. Upon being honorably discharged, he began training horses full time again. Matt has been recently asked to compete in the central Texas "Road to the Horse" which will be held this fall.
We have many amateur and professional references from other trainers, breeders, serious competitors and your everyday horseman.
